Hello, nice to meet you!

My name is Joshua Willett, welcome to my Substack page, “Building on The Foundation”. I am a servant and follower of Christ, currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity Degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. Additionally, I am a Pastoral/Church Planting Apprentice with The Fount Church in downtown/River Market KC and part-time barista. My wife, Ellie, and I moved to KC from Seattle, WA in August 2023 to prepare for a lifetime of pastoral ministry.

I enjoy writing about God, the Bible, and all things theology! Ultimately, my goal with this page is to build a platform to share what the Lord is teaching and revealing to me in the hope that it will encourage others as well. As you read, please feel free to leave comments with your own thoughts, after all theology is best practiced in community with others!
